We’re two agents operating our own agency in Newcastle NSW, LaneCampos.

We didn’t want to cold call people. We knew homeowners didn’t like being annoyed. We tried hard to convert people at open homes but it was a tough slog with minimal results. Hours and hours of follow-up with little reward.

We realised that by time it came to choosing an agent, most people had already made up their minds. They wanted someone with a local presence. Someone trustworthy. We wanted to be the only people on their shopping list.

We knew that repetition builds trust. We knew vendors didnt want agents gloating and talking about themselves and how awesome they were. We decided to throw away all the usual prospecting approaches and simply keep our local community informed.
